Once a part of an Indian ladies wardrobe this unique piece of material has been reinvented just for you…Patchouli Fair’s vision is to bring a new lease of life to vintage saris, but may mean that there could be small fabric flaws that simply add to the garments life story. By purchasing this upcycled product you are helping to create a better standard of living for the underprivileged communities of India, whilst caring about the environment. Due to the nature of the fabric slight imperfections may occur but simply add to its story.
Upcycled saris are all different in weight & have a wide range of compositions. They do not come with a fabric label so we cannot guarantee the composition. Some of our sari products can be pure silk or made with a blend of viscose, cotton or polyester. Due to this variation we have no way of knowing, so cannot inform the composition for each product. Some fabrics are easier to identify and where it is listed as 100% silk then it is!!
